Systems & Infrastructure Engineer III @ Walmart Global Tech
Northwest Arkansas • Open to Remote & Relocation
Enterprise Endpoint Platform Engineer at Walmart Global Tech, engineering the platform behind approximately 300,000 managed Windows endpoints worldwide. My work sits where endpoint management meets software engineering: alongside owning Intune, Configuration Manager, and Windows Update for Business at fleet scale, I design and ship the internal products other engineers use to run the platform — PowerShell frameworks, full-stack web applications, and AI-powered engineering tools. Recent work includes leading Walmart's Windows servicing migration from SCCM to Windows Update for Business and developing a remediation that prevented approximately 8,000 devices from becoming unrecoverable, avoiding an estimated $15.7M–$28M in hardware replacement costs. Much of my recent focus has been shifting the platform from reactive support toward proactive, self-healing operations that improve platform reliability — turning recurring support trends into imaging (OSD) automation, Intune Proactive Remediations that correct configuration drift, and clearer documentation. That work was a significant contribution to my team's objective of reducing product support tickets 90% year-over-year, met through engineering rather than added staffing. I build with AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code, Codex) and am one of three engineers on the Windows Engineering (OS) team trusted to approve production code.
I treat endpoint engineering as software engineering. The through-line across everything I ship: build products other engineers adopt, automate the work out of existence, and prove it with measurable outcomes.

Drift-remediation tooling cut support-queue volume ~65%; a single remediation avoided an estimated $15.7M–$28M. If the outcome can't be measured, the work isn't finished.
I'm one of three engineers trusted to approve production code, I administer the team's GitHub organization, and I built GitHub101 to move an operations team toward an engineering culture with real version control and peer review.
I build with AI-assisted development workflows and shipped Card Forge behind a human-in-the-loop approval gate — the model drafts, an engineer decides.

Windows Engineering (OS) — supporting ~300,000 endpoints and 2.1 million users
Engineers the endpoint platform behind ~300,000 Windows devices — owning kiosk OS architecture for 18,000+ devices, leading Windows servicing modernization, and building the internal products the team runs on. Increasingly focused on platform reliability over firefighting: preventing incidents before they reach users, not just resolving them faster.
Recruited into Windows Engineering on the strength of automation built in the support organization — taking ownership of Intune, SCCM, Windows servicing, Windows 11 deployment, and Microsoft 365 application packaging across ~300,000 endpoints.
Helped establish Walmart's overnight Level 2 Enterprise Operations organization from the ground up before promotion into systems engineering.
